What you get back depends on the fare. Refundable fares return the fare less the airline penalty. Non-refundable fares usually return only the government taxes.
Once we submit a refund to the airline, the airline's own processing time applies — commonly two to eight weeks for international carriers. We chase it, but we cannot shorten it.
Refunds are returned to your Air Pockets wallet by default, which is instant to spend, or to your bank account if you ask. Our service fee is not refundable.
